CALENDAR ART FRIDAY

Kia ora everybody,

We have had a busy day finishing our calendar art.  We have used so many skills to make our calendars:  designing, problem solving, cutting, pasting, working with colours, geometry, and role playing for our photos!

Our calendar art shows what we have been learning about in our first term at Arahoe School- Keeping Ourselves Safe.

The awesome news is that you can order calendars until Friday 22nd August now!  We have been given extra time!  So come into the class and have a look.  They are a great Christmas present and are truly one of a kind.

We had a fun day at Ara Teina assembly.  Congratulations to Grace who won our certificate for always being ready for learning and for always helping other people.  We learnt a new song and the teachers sung us a song too!

We did not check our letter sounds today because we were so busy finishing our calendar art, so we have an extra week to practice!

Have a great weekend everyone!
