Wednesday 11 November marks the hindu Festival of Diwali and First World War Armistice Day.
To mark the event Arahoe will be hosting a “Peace Day”.
We encourage all students to come to school on Peace Day in national dress and/or traditional ethnic clothes. This means they do not have to wear their uniform.

ach student will be gifted a battery operated candle/diya.
An Arahoe commemorative event will take place from 10:30am-12pm, on the front courts, in front of NZ flag. We welcome members of the Arahoe School community, friends and whanau to join us.

P.S. Our pool was suddenly closed today and reopened 1.20pm so we did not get our swimming session. Swimming will be every Tuesday at 1pm. Please come and help us!
