SUPER LEARNERS!

Kia ora everybody!

Our second week of school was off to a great start!  This morning we made our own little 'Letter T' booklets and we get to take them home for our reading homework.  Didn't we do well making them?

In Shared Writing we are getting better and better at telling Miss Ellis how to write a simple sentence to go with the picture.  We got 3 smiley faces again for doing all our jobs and for counting the words and letters in our simple sentence.

Some of us started our Handwriting on the chalkboards.  Today we learnt how to set up our chalkboards with a trunk, branches, eggs and broken branches.  That helps us to write!  Today we made short sticks.  Look how they are in the right place, and are the right size and the right shape!

In Maths we are learning to be know our number patterns.  We used dice to help us recognise number patterns to 6.  We threw the dice and then made the same number of worms out of playdough for our apples.  Come and see our display!

Miss Ellis' family is getting lonely on the whanau wall.  Please help us add to it!

Thanks for reading the blog!
Ka kite ano,
