THE WRITING PROCESS

In Room 20 we have been learning about the Writing Process.  First we need to 'Think About It' which means we are thinking of ideas to write about.  Then we have to 'Write It Down' which Miss Ellis is teaching us in shared writing.

We are learning:

• to think of ideas for stories
• to draw picture plans and tell our story
• that a sentence starts with a capital letter, has spaces between words and ends with a full stop
• that we write for different reasons- to retell parts of a favourite book, to thank people, and to report are some of the different reasons we have used to write.
