MORE NEWS FROM AMAZING ARAHOE LEARNERS

Kia ora parents and caregivers!

We have more exciting news for you!  Have a look at our photos:

We have been learning the difference between b and d.  They are tricky letters and both have tall sticks in them.  Little b has tall stick close the gate.  Little d has open mouth close the gate.

Here we are doing dot paintings with cotton buds.  We wear paint shirts when we use paints.
Congratulations to our 3 super girls who completed the Thinking Green Athon Quiz.  20/20!  Ka pai.

Remember fundraising is due today so if you have any please bring it asap.
Speaking of b and d...have a look at our wonderful Casey Shape letters!

Arahoe's Got Talent semi finals were on last Friday.  Have a look at our lovely judges!  Tough competition.  Congratulations to Yogini from Room 19 for singing in front of the whole school!
Welcome to our new friends!  Check out this new super learner who is drawing the Casey the Caterpillar story.
This is the part of the story we drew up to.  Where does the butterfly lay her egg?
What does Casey the Caterpillar turn into after he has eaten all the leaves?
We had a surprise visitor today!  COnstable Carl came to listen to our jingle 'Road Safety Man.'  He was so impressed.  He wants us to post him a copy of the jingle so he can put it up and show all his friends at Henderson Police Station.

Parent teacher meetings are next week.  Bookings are available online.  You only need to come if our teachers have not seen you yet this term and we have been at school for more than 4 weeks.  You can come next term.  This way, everyone gets a turn!

and the code is:DR2FK
