NEW PHOTOS, NEWS AND A TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC!

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Our last week of school lays ahead and it really is one to celebrate- both Matariki and Room 20's progression from the Reception Class.

To celebrate the term, we will have a Teddy Bear's Picnic on Wednesday at 11.00am in the school hall.  It would be great if everyone could bring a small amount of food to share, as well as a Teddy Bear or beloved soft toy to share in the festivities.

If any parents or whanau can help out with picnic hampers, picnic baskets and setting up the hall by laying out the food, please contact me on sarahe@gmail.com or let me know in the morning before school.
Many thanks!

Sarah and Betsy.

How many litter-less lunch boxes will there be next?

We have been learning about take away, or subtraction, or minus.  You can use any of those words.

6 takeaway 1 is...5!
6-1=5

We read the story Kooky Kiwis to help us learn about takeaway!
Paul is taking away one Kooky Kiwi on the whiteboard.

On Wednesday we had a lovely time with our visitors.  Look how well we showed them how to quietly work on our letter activities:

Beautiful smiling faces!

Here we are learning how to buddy share.  When we buddy share we look at the person we are sharing with and take turns to talk and listen.
