Kiaora everybody!
Here are today's no-rubbish lunch box kids. Ka pai guys!
No rubbish for the land fill from these Kakariki Kids!
Speaking of landfill- we are trying to reduce the amount of rubbish that goes in the landfill so we are making a worm farm for the class.
Today we went on an adventure looking for what we need for our worm farms.
We need:
a plastic bottle
dirt
small rocks
sand
worms
Here we are looking for small rocks in the garden!
We cut the top off a big water container. Yogini came up with the great idea of using a nail and hammer to make a hole to start cutting from. Great idea Yogini!
Jimmy suggested we use tape to put around the top of the cut bottle so we don't cut ourselves. We like your thinking Jimmy!
Thanks again for looking at our blog!
Ka kite ano!
